Random Harvest - Indigenous Nursery, Country Cottages and Eco-friendly Farm

Random Harvest is a unique blend of country cottages, indigenous nursery and working farm, and has been home to Linda De Luca and her mother for 40 Years.

This magnificent environment with its beauty and blessed essence has been our lifelong passion and pleasure and we are happy to share it with you.  It boasts 21ha. with vast numbers of mature indigenous trees and a few remaining exotics such as the 100 year old oak trees that we just don’t have the heart to remove.

Our Italian heritage embraces the importance of Random Harvest having its own fresh produce – Cows, chickens, geese, as well as a vegetable garden and fruit orchard.  We believe in bottling, preserving and making sure that none of the ‘good stuff’ goes to waste.

The love of nature and dedication to all things natural has led to the farm becoming a haven for a multitude of birds and wildlife – a true urban conservation area.

Come and meet our friendly team who will take care of you … serve you … and share their knowledge with you … and show you a true, quality, indigenous experience in a safe and secure environment.

This philosophy is brought home by what the customers have to say about us.

‘When I imagine what heaven would be like – this is it’

‘Sitting on my lawn surrounded by plants, staring at the stars and listening to the frogs, it is hard to believe I am in Africa’s largest city’
